Best Digital Art

To all staff members at the Campus Bookstore.
My name is Michael Mavracic and I have just completed the Course in Interactive Digital Media 2009. The Dandenong Campus Bookstore had generously sponsored the exhibition with a book prize. At the opening of our J Space exhibition “Transformations”, I received the “Best Digital Art” Award. I find the book to be very resourceful, with great design layout references. It is something I will treasure for a long time. I wish to sincerely thank the Campus Bookstore for their contribution to the “Transformations” exhibition 2009.

Change your perception glasses !!!

Change your perception glasses is a video piece I really enjoyed making. There is a lot of metaphor in this piece some not so obvious. I personal like to take a view that the glass is half full. How do you perceive the glasses?

Moving Images

While working in Flash we were assigned to create images that animate. I extended an image from the Journal we did earlier in the year.

Not from this world.

Who are you?
Unknown weird creature
Mysterious investigator
Emerging from the liquid element you chose
To veil yourself along your long journey of
Understanding
Understanding
Understanding……….

This watercolour piece has been a long and painstaking project. It has required time, effort, research, perseverance and creative thinking until the last moment. Construction skills were also necessary but Art demands all of these qualities. Comments, suggestions about exhibition are welcome as well as donations for the artist.

Persona Portraits

Earlier in the year I had a photographic assignment where I had to dress up with different persona’s and then produce a photographic portrait of each. I enjoyed the assignment as it allowed me to explore different aspects of ones self. I really wanted to illustrate a very strong contrast between persona's and I felt I have achieved that. I must say thanks to Annie as together with myself we assisted each other allowing artist direction to compose the shot. Cheers Annie!
